
Zephyr Successful in Helping Client Obtain FIRST Greenhouse Gas PSD Permit in Texas!
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issued the first Texas Greenhouse Gas (GHG) permit for the Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA) Thomas C. Ferguson Power Plant in Llano County, Texas. LCRA is modernizing and expanding its plant by replacing its 37 year old unit with a new more efficient and reliable natural gas powered unit.

Zephyr Environmental Corporation announces a new look and modified logo to better reflect the character of the business. Explaining the change, Zephyr’s president, Joe Zupan, said “We’ve long been known as an air quality consulting powerhouse, and it still accounts for a large share of our business, but over time we’ve added many other services – corrective action, waste management, natural resources, water quality, health and safety, and many other strategic services. At the annual “Best Firms” summit in San Francisco last month, the Environmental Business Journal, in conjunction with CE News, named Zephyr Environmental Corporation of Austin a “Best Firm to Work For.”
