Mobile and Transportation Sources  Zephyr prepares air and noise impact analyses for highway projects and other mobile emissions sources. Zephyr has provided predictive environmental assessments and impact statements for highway projects, international bridge crossings and inspection stations, parking lots and vehicle terminals, and off-road construction equipment. Zephyr is also pre-certified by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and follows official Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) guidelines and preferred modeling methodologies to perform localized air and noise analyses for state roadway projects. Zephyr is pre-certified by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and follows official Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) guidelines and preferred modeling methodologies to perform noise analyses for state roadway projects. For residential and industrial projects, Zephyr uses field monitoring and standard noise attenuation techniques to calculate potential impacts at sensitive receivers. These assessments follow guidance established by the EPA and Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
