Presentations

Two Zephyr staff members spoke at the Energy, Utility and Environment Conference (EUEC) in Phoenix, Arizona on January 31, 2012. Mr. Louis Corio gave a presentation on the Development of a More Representative PM Emission Factor for Natural Gas-Fired, Aeroderivative-Class Combustion Turbines and Mr. Eric Quiat, PE, spoke on Greenhouse Gas Permitting Challenges: What to Do When EPA Becomes the Permitting Authority.


Thomas Sullivan, PE gave a presentation on the Proposed NSPS and NESHAPS Rules for Oil & Gas Production at the Hot Air Topics Conference hosted by the Air and Waste Management Association in Houston, Texas on January 12, 2012.


David Mahler presented "How to prepare for EPA's Boiler MACT Rules" during a Web Forum sponsored by the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) and the Air and Waste Management Association (AWMA) on January 12, 2012.


Bill Jones gave a presentation on Regulating Air Pollution to Improve Water Quality: An Overview of IMO’s Emission Control Area Program at the Environmental Management of Enclosed Coastal Seas Conference on August 29, 2011.


Brett Davis, P.E. presented “NO2 NAAQS Compliance” at the Semiconductor Environmental Safety and Health Association (SESHA) 2011 Symposium on May 18, 2011 in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Eric Quiat, P.E. made a presentation on Air Permitting of Electric Generating Units in the Wake of the TCEQ and EPA Duel at the 2011 Energy, Utility and Environment Conference (EUEC) on February 1, 2011 in Phoenix, Arizona.


Thomas Sullivan, P.E. and David Mahler, P.E. made a presentation on Greenhouse Gas Reporting for the Oil & Gas Industry during a luncheon that Zephyr hosted on October 6, 2010 during the TCEQ’s Advanced Air Permitting/Oil & Gas Workshop in Austin, Texas.
Kevin Ellis gave a presentation on TCEQ’s new requirements on Maintenance, Startup and Shutdown (MSS) Emissions at the Texas Aggregates and Concrete Association (TACA) Conference in San Antonio, Texas on September 27, 2010.
Bonnie Blam, a Certified Safety Professional and Senior Project Scientist at Zephyr, authored a feature article on How to Create a Sustainable Operation in the July/August 2009 edition of Concrete In Focus, a publication of the National Ready Mix Concrete Association.
