24-Hour Hazardous Materials Technician
Training Course
This 24-hour Hazardous Materials (HazMat) Technician training course prepares participants to offensively respond (control, contain, confine, and clean-up) hazardous materials releases as a member of a HazMat team. Topics include: recognizing HazMat, Incident Management, Personal Protective Equipment, Decontamination, and Spill Tactics. Employees who are expected to respond to hazardous material releases should attend this course prior to responding to a hazardous materials incident, and attend an 8-hour refresher course annually thereafter. This will cover:
