4-Hour Confined Space Entry Training Course
The goal of this 4-hour training course is to meet the training requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Confined Space Standard 29 CFR 1910.146. Emloyees who work in confined spaces are required by the OSHA standard to be trained prior to entering a confined space and whenever conditions change to present a new hazard in a confined space. This course will cover:

  • Confined space definition
  • Key aspects of the OSHA standard
  • Entry team roles and responsibilities
  • Hazard/exposure condition recognition
  • Pre-entry testing and continuous monitoring
  • Entry and personal protective equipment
  • Entry permit
  • Ventilation, communication, and evacuation
  • Retrieval and rescue procedures
