40 Hour HAZWOPER Training Course  
This 40-hour class will certify employees in training requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's HAZWOPER Standard 29 CFR 1910.120 (e). Employees expected to be general site workers should attend this course prior to responding to a hazardous materials release, working in a hazardous substance removal activity, or conducting operations at treatment, storage and disposal facilities. After receiving the 40-hour HAZWOPER training, HazMat employees must attend an 8-hour refresher course on an annual basis. This course will cover and provide:

• Introduction to HAZWOPER basics
• Planning and the Incident Command System
• Hazards at the site
• Sources of information
• Hazardous materials worker safety
• First aid and CPR
• Material handling
• Emergency response operations
• Outdoor practical exercises
• Hands on scenarios
